The Twisters lost 0-2.

“The main reason for the loss being the players we fielded,” the manager said.  “Since we are moving toward the end of the season we wanted to get some of our backup squad on the pitch to game some game time and some training.”

Youth Squad Friendly – 1/5/09

Youth squad had a friendly match today against the crawlers and pulled out a draw.

Last Round of the Cup

The last round before finals take place this week.  I’m not sure how I fair up but I haven’t been chopped out yet.  This weeks game looks like it will be a close one looking at all the scenarios.

I will keep you updated to let you know how well I did.  Also only 2 weeks left in season play and looks like I might have to play a qualifier to stay in the current league.  I will keep it posted.

11-20 Friendly

Twisters hosted Spenótpuszedli for a nice friendly match.

2420 showed up in the rain to watch their home team.

Twisters mostly started their ‘B’ team to get some of the non experienced players some playing time.

10-30 Friendly

FC Twisters played a friendly last week against team CF in their home town. CF is from Division VI so I’m sure I had some players more advanced than his. FC Twisters win the friendly 6-0

Owner said, “FC Twisters played very well and it was nice to have a win despite it being a friendly”

Ilkka Silvasti was the leading scorer with 2 goals.
